The MSLC provides tours for school children in grades 2 through 12. During the visit students and teachers will have the opportunity to experience STEM disciplines in a college environment. Visitor will have the opportunity to interact with Rutgers faculty, graduate and undergraduate students to learn about on going research projects at Rutgers. Tours include scientific demonstrations in the STEM disciplines and visits to our Exhibit Hall with its hands-on demonstrations. Groups should plan on spending approximately ~ two hours at the center. The MSLC can provide a lunch room if your group wishes to bring bag lunches. Tour days are on Friday mornings when Rutgers classes are in session.

“Thank you for presenting an outstanding lesson to our fifth graders last Friday. It was a pleasure to meet you and a privilege to have my students participate in the Math and Science Learning Center activities. You are to be commended for your unique ability to make this Biology lesson so accessible and fascinating to our group. The students were truly enthralled with the entire annelid experience! You helped them to make a tangible connection to college; you’ve inspired them and set many on the path to establishing and setting a goal for future academic success. We are sincerely grateful to you for your time and experience-please know that you have made a significant difference in the lives of these students!”
